Since my last entry, a lot has changed. I'm set to go to graduate school in the fall. I've formed new - and lost some old - friendships. I submitted my first research paper to a scientific journal. I got to live out my rebellious lifelong dream of taking a final exam without studying. I became hypersensitive to the feelings of others. I learned that the cliche heart-versus-mind paradigm is actually very real. I learned to stand up for myself (maybe a little too strongly). I learned to appreciate my parents infinitely more. I learned to forgive, even if it's a bit too late. And lastly, I had the honor of graduating with some of the most amazing, intriguing, kind-hearted, intelligent people I've had the honor to befriend at UCLA.
I know there's a lot more I could say, but simply listing out in bullet points everything that I've accomplished wouldn't do these experiences any justice. So instead, I will post a few pictures with (some of) the greatest people with whom I got to experience my undergraduate years.
Thanks UCLA. For introducing me to so many lovely people, for showing me that intelligence comes in all physical forms, for providing me with endless opportunities, and for molding me into the person I am today. For this, I am eternally grateful. I'm both scared and excited to see what you have in store for me. See you again soon.
